Rita Fuller-Yates

Rita Fuller-Yates is a historian, author, speaker, and cultural
curator dedicated to preserving and celebrating Black history.
Born and raised on Columbus, Ohio’s Near East Side, she is the
founder of the Columbus and Savannah Black History Tours and
the author of acclaimed works including Columbus Black
History and Just a Little Girl from Long Street. A former
corporate executive turned entrepreneur and storyteller, Rita
brings history to life through books, media, education, and
community engagement—ensuring that the voices and
contributions of Black America are remembered, honored, and
shared for generations to come.
